Safety regulations for CNC machine tools

CNC lathes are attachments to machine tool equipment and belong to mechanized operations, so safety is particularly important in operation,


(1) Familiarize yourself with the machine tool operation manual before starting the machine.


(2) Prohibit exceeding the range of machine usage specifications.


(3) Do not remove iron filings during processing.


(4) Before processing, confirm whether the workpiece is correctly positioned and clamped.


(5) Before starting the machine, check the distance between the tool and the workpiece or fixture.


(6) It is prohibited to use incorrect cutting tools or tools, such as non sharp and unstable tools.


(7) During machine operation, it is prohibited to use any materials to wipe or adjust the spindle tool.


(8) It is prohibited to use hands or other substitutes to stop or slow down the machine.


(9) Before operating the machine for processing, all safety covers or doors must be closed.


(10) The machine is prohibited from working under unmanned supervision.


(11) When the spindle is running, it is forbidden to adjust the flow of Cutting fluid or the pneumatic pressure value of air flow.


(12) When measuring the workpiece, make sure to stop the machine.


(13) It is prohibited to use compressed air to clean the electrical components inside the electrical box.


(14) Keep the surroundings of the machine clean and remove unnecessary obstacles or iron filings.


(15) If there is any leakage of various liquids used by the machine, it should be dealt with immediately to avoid causing slippery ground and environmental pollution.


(16) Lubrication or maintenance is prohibited during machine operation.


(17) During maintenance and lubrication or machine repair, the control panel must have appropriate signs or locks, and personnel must be assigned to assist in guarding.


(18) Do not replace existing parts or components with rough products.


(19) Do not touch the controller or switch with wet hands.


(20) When automatically changing tools, manual removal or insertion of tools from the tool magazine is not allowed.


(21) Electrical faults should be repaired by electrical engineers.


(22) If the machine has abnormal sound or looseness, it should be checked and repaired before use.
