The gantry machining center has the function of automatic tool change, and can carry out milling, boring and drilling and other processes for processing. It is widely used in the processing of large and medium-sized fine parts. The workbench of the large gantry machining center is very large, with a size of 2000mm*6000mm, a bed rail length of more than 12000mm, and a workbench stroke of more than 6000mm. It has the characteristics of accurate positioning, strong stability, and small error.
How to know whether the speed of the workbench of the gantry machining center is normal
1. If the forward and backward speed control handles of the gantry machining center are rotated to the right to the end, and the speed does not reach a, then the reason is: the pressure of the excitation circuit is defective, the negative voltage reaction is too strong, etc.
2. The negative voltage reaction is often caused by an open circuit inside 200-s, -F. The original voltage between 200V-SY-F is less than half of the generator voltage. After the 200V-S, -F is open, the voltage between the two points is basically equal to the generator voltage, that is, it is doubled on the original basis.
3. During the transition process, the overshoot phenomenon of the gantry machining center must be paid attention to. In these processes, the speed is to be positioned as IF in the process maximum overshoot. For example, if the overshoot phenomenon occurs, we need to reduce the pressure appropriately.
4. During the production process of the gantry machining center, the workbench cannot be pulled. The reason is the positive reaction of the current. The more serious is the conversion of the positive reaction of the current into a negative reaction phenomenon, which will cause the workbench to be unable to pull. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully check the reaction amount of the positive and negative levels, so that when the speed is below 10m/min, the speed after cutting should not drop by more than 1 level*.
Most of the milling of the gantry machining center is done by reverse milling. However, down milling should be used as much as possible, which will achieve better processing results. Because when the gantry machining center is reverse milling, strong friction is generated before the blade cuts in, causing the machining surface to harden, making it difficult for the next tooth to cut in.
When the gantry milling machine is down milling, the milling width should be approximately equal to 2/3 of the milling cutter diameter, which can ensure that the blade can immediately cut into the workpiece at the beginning with almost no friction. If it is less than 1/2 of the milling cutter diameter, the blade will start to "rub" the workpiece again, because the cutting thickness becomes smaller when cutting in, and the feed per tooth will also decrease due to the narrowing of the radial cutting width. The result of "friction" shortens the tool life. For carbide tools, it is more beneficial to increase the feed per tooth and reduce the cutting depth.
