Safety rules for CNC machine tools

CNC lathe belongs to machine tool equipment accessories and belongs to mechanized operation, so safety is particularly important in operation,


(1) Be familiar with the operating instructions of the machine tool before starting the machine.

(2) Do not exceed the specification range of the machine.

(3) Do not remove iron filings during processing.

(4) Before machining, confirm whether the workpiece is correctly positioned and clamped.

(5) Before starting the machine, check the distance between the tool and the workpiece and fixture.

(6) It is forbidden to use incorrect cutting tools and tools, such as unsharp cutting tools and unstable tools.

(7) During the operation of the machine, it is forbidden to use any material to wipe and adjust the spindle tool.

(8) It is forbidden to stop or slow down the machine with hands or other substitutes.

(9) All safety covers or doors must be closed before the machine is operated and processed.

(10) The machine is forbidden to work unattended.

(11) During spindle operation, it is forbidden to adjust the cutting fluid flow or pneumatic pressure value.

(12) When measuring the workpiece, be sure to stop the machine.

(13) It is forbidden to use compressed air to clean the electrical components inside the electric box.

(14) Keep the surrounding of the machine clean and remove unnecessary obstacles or iron filings.

(15) In case of leakage of various liquids used by the machine, it shall be handled immediately to avoid slippery ground and environmental pollution.

(16) Do not lubricate or maintain the machine during operation.

(17) During maintenance and lubrication or machine repair, the operation panel of the controller must be properly marked or locked, and someone shall be assigned to assist in guarding.

(18) Do not replace existing parts or components with rough products.

(19) Do not touch the controller or switch with wet hands.

(20) When the tool is changed automatically, it is not allowed to manually take out or put in the tool from the tool magazine.

(21) electrical fault shall be repaired by electrical engineer.

(22) if the machine has abnormal sound or looseness, it can be used only after it is repaired normally.
