Running problems of NC lathe tool rest

CNC lathe is composed of CNC device, lathe bed, headstock, tool rest feeding system, tailstock, hydraulic system, cooling system, lubrication system, chip conveyor and many other parts. It can also be equipped with the following two types of tool rest.


① Tool holder: It is developed by the CNC lathe manufacturer, and the tool handle used is also a series. Low manufacturing cost, but lack of versatility.

② Universal tool rest: the tool rest produced according to the relevant general standards can be selected and configured by the lathe manufacturer according to the specific functions of the CNC lathe.


1) When the tool rest is not locked tightly, the following instructions are given:

① The position of the sending tray is not aligned: remove the top cover of the tool holder, rotate and adjust the position of the sending tray, so that the Hall element of the tool holder is aligned with the magnetic steel, so that the tool position is stopped at the correct position.

② The system unlocking time is not long: just adjust the system unlocking time parameter (the new tool rest unlocking time is 1.2s).

③ The locking mechanism of the CNC lathe fails: disassemble the tool holder, adjust the machine, and check whether the locating pin is broken.


2) The tool rest runs continuously or does not stop when it is in place:

① Because the tool rest can operate continuously, the probability of the overall CNC lathe failure is very small, mainly from the electrical position.

② Check whether the arrival signal is sent. If the arrival signal is not sent, it indicates that the sending board has failed.

③ Whether the elastic contact of the signaling board is worn, and whether the ground wire is open circuit, poor contact, leakage, etc. At this time, it is necessary to replace the elastic sheet contact or repair, and troubleshoot the line fault according to the contact condition of the relay in the line, the contact condition of the in place switch, and the line connection condition.
