③ In the case of multi variety and small batch production, the production efficiency is higher, which can reduce the time for production preparation, machine tool adjustment, and process inspection. Moreover, the use of Z-optimal cutting quantity reduces cutting time.

④ Complex surfaces that are difficult to process using conventional methods can be processed, and even some machining parts that cannot be observed can be processed.

The disadvantage of CNC machining is the high cost of machine equipment, which requires maintenance personnel to have a high level of proficiency.
